Position Summary with Job Responsibilities Position Description Format Position Name Learning & Content Development, ATC Position level L5 DEM position name DGM DEM position level L4 FEM position name NA FEM position level NA Purpose of the position a.Why the position exists b.What will happen if there is no one in the position (no one performs the work) a.To conceptualise, design and develop instructor led and on-line technical training modules for TML and Channel Partners\' service personnel in line with overall business strategy and on-time development & availability of Service Literature in order to develop knowledge, skills and diagnostic capability of service personnel of TML & Channel Partners. b.Erosion of Repair Quality, Customer Delight, DSS and CSI. Dimensions of the position Financial Sale of Literature and e-Service Manuals : INR 20 lacs / year. Non-Financial Direct Reports: 4 Indirect Reports: Nil Personal Profile Education Graduate Engineer Skills BE (Mechanical) / BE (Automobiles) Relevant Experience : 10-15 years of total work experience Key Responsibilities: S.N.Key Responsibility & Key Tasks Measures Development of new courses and modification in existing courses for Instructor Led Training : 1) Developing new technical courses for channel partners & TML Customer Care team, in line with information and feedback received from various sources. 2) Periodic review and on-time modification of existing courses, in line with information and feedback received from stakeholders. 3) Guide master trainers in preparation of Instructor Guides and their periodic review. 4) Preparation of content for publishing Service Training Handouts. 1. Number of new courses developed (in line with the business needs). 2.Number of existing courses modified. Number of Instructor Guides and Training Handouts prepared. 4.Qualitative Feedback from trainers. 5.Timeline. Development of Self Learning Modules and Web based Training Modules : 1) Create and guide team members to develop cost effective, relevant, comprehensive and user friendly SLMs and WBTs on technical topics, based on inputs from various internal and external sources. 2) Liaison with external agencies for developing relevant audio-visuals for the module. 3) Liaison with L&D team for uploading e-learning modules on LMS platform and test the course for proper functioning. 1. Number of Self Learning Modules and Web based training modules developed and uploaded in Tata Motors Academy. 2. Timeline. Education Work Experience 3.Conducting Pilot training programs : 1) Conducting pilot batches at CTC, STC and RTC-s for newly developed and modified training courses. 2) Liaison with ERC, Product Launch team and CTC for availability of resources (vehicles, components, cut sections) required for deployment of pilot training courses on new models and new technology. 3) Follow up with field service for arranging nominations for Pilot batches, at CTC, as per requirement. 4) Design deployment strategy to off-load new training courses to RTCs and STC by discussion with RTC and STC Incharges and Head ATC. 1. Qualitative feedback from participants of Pilot batch. 2. Timeline. 4.Development of Trainers : 1) Draft the contents for TTT (Train The Trainer) programs to be conducted by Master Trainers for new Associate Trainers. 2) Design TTT programs to fuifill the training needs identified for existing Associate Trainers and deploy TTT programs by Master Trainers, in consultation with Head ATC. 3) Provide regular inputs to Master Trainers on new technologies and products. Qualitative feedback on quality of training. 5Publication of Service Literature : 1) Review with team member for ensuring availability of Owner\'s Manual, Network Address Book, Service Manuals and other service literature on time. 2) Finalise cost effective vendor for quality publishing of Service Literature. On-time availability of Service Literature. 6Assessment Creation : 1) Jointly work with Assessors and create knowledge based Assessments for major and critical roles and levels of TML Channel Partners Service Personnel. 2) Collaborate with Assessors and create skill based Assessments for relevant positions of Channel Partners\' workshops. 3) Periodic review and incorporation of relevant changes/modifications after joint discussion with Assessors. 1. Relevance to job role and level. 7IndiaSkills and WorldSkills : Prepare our TML Candidate for IndiaSkills and WorldSkills Competition, every year, by arranging training at various OEM facilities in India by engaging with ASDC (Automotive Skill Development Council).
