Your Career We are looking for a Techno-Functional IT QA Manager with experience in software quality in a high-growth company. You will lead from the front with the primary focus on continuously improving product quality regarding stability, functionality, and performance. You must have hands-on experience managing critical issues, assessing problems, and providing thoughtful solutions while keeping a calm demeanor. Good written, verbal communication skills are necessary as you will work with IT leads. As the Manager, you will ensure that all Finance and HR systems maintain top quality. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and testing efforts for all projects in IT Finance and HR technologies. Managing and growing a high-performing QA team is also part of your responsibilities. Your Impact Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of the Finance and HR IT system As the Manager of QA engineers, your responsibility is to guarantee that each project delivered to the business meets the QA KPI targets Creation of comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for SAP and Workday, and other systems in Finance and HR, encompassing functional, integration, automation, and performance testing Manage testing activities by assigning resources and supervising the execution of test cases Work together with development teams to address defects and guarantee the delivery of top-notch products Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality assurance and present them to relevant parties - Take corrective measures if any discrepancies are identified Collaborate with the Test automation team to automate test cases - The goal is 90% of the testing will be automated and requires close collaboration between the Quality Engineering, Testing, and Development teams to achieve this in every project release Coordinate QA test result sign-off and UAT handover To continuously improve the quality of production systems, participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for production issues and update test cases accordingly Your Experience 10+ years of experience with 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 3 years in a Managerial role Experience in managing high volume or high risk/complex projects QA executions Experience with major platforms SAP, Workday, Micro Services, and iPaaS Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide regular updates to stakeholders Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain comprehensive documentation Proven ability to drive testing strategy for Finance and HR technologies Education Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent military experience required Master\'s degree is preferred The Team At Palo Alto Networks , everything starts and ends with our mission: Being the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life.We have the vision of a world where each day is safer and more secure than one before. The IT Enterprise Architecture team is uniquely positioned to transform new production introductions, business processes, and system landscapes across the PANW enterprise for the next growth phase. The IT Enterprise Architecture Organization consists of four teams performing critical functions. New Product Introductions (NPI) Business Architecture Information System Architecture IT QA The NPI team does product introductions for all PANW product lines. This function is closely aligned with our product line (speedboats) from ideation to GA. They work closely with all stakeholders (IT, Marketing, sales ops, GCS, Finance, and Legal) to launch PANW products. The Business Architecture team is responsible for designing, reengineering, and automating business processes across the enterprise. The Information System Architecture team is responsible for designing the IT systems to run the PANW business. The IT QA is responsible for ensuring the quality of all IT systems (SaaS, On-prem, home-grown).
