Job Title: Senior IT Manager Industry: Education, Franchising Job Summary: The Senior IT Manager will be responsible for managing the Information Technology (IT) systems and infrastructure of the education company which operates and franchises schools throughout India. The role involves overseeing the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and initiatives across the company. The Senior IT Manager will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that the IT systems are aligned with the company\'s objectives and strategic plan. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the company\'s IT strategy and policies in alignment with the organization\'s goals and objectives.
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the company\'s IT systems and infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, and databases.
Provide technical support to the company\'s schools and franchisees, ensuring timely resolution of issues and the highest levels of customer service.
Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain IT security policies and procedures to safeguard the company\'s data and systems against unauthorized access and other threats.
Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations to the leadership team on how to leverage them to improve the company\'s operations and competitive advantage.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT initiatives support the company\'s overall business strategy and objectives.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT products and services. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master\'s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3-4 years in a senior management role.
Experience in the education industry is preferred, particularly in a franchising model.
Proven track record of managing complex IT projects from conception to completion.
Experience in managing a team of IT professionals, if required
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and security.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts for IT products and services.
Ability to travel throughout India to support the company\'s schools and franchisees as needed.
