Job Description

In this role selected candidate will lead India based team that is part of larger Global IT Risk team for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. You will drive Risk practices across the Asset Management Technology teams. The role will include a mix of auditing controls, providing governance over control operation, providing training, and driving awareness through reporting. You will have the opportunity to influence how we operate and help shape procedures, with a focus on improving working practices and reducing risk.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding oversight and governance over local vendor / managed service relationshipsProvide governance over local risk processes including producing regular status reports.Facilitate multiple internal and external audit engagements including ISAE, SOC2 and SOXIdentifying and logging risk events and ensuring there is a remediation plan that is tracked to completion.Identifying patterns of failures or gaps in controls and using these to design and implement solutions.Supporting an annual risk review of critical processes and tracking remedial work to conclusion.Working with the local technology teams to provide oversight over control operation including reviewing evidence and tracking remediation of identified issues.Producing reporting packs for all levels of management to increase awareness of the status of core tasks.Required Qualifications15 -20 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in Technology with at least 10 years of experience in a Risk related role.Strong understanding of controls in a technology environment.Experience of control implementation and remediation.Knowledge and experience in Technology Infrastructure.Strong planning and delivery capabilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience of understanding and documenting process flowsExperience providing risk oversight of a managed service or vendor relationship.Certifications Preferred: CISA, CGEIT, CRISCExperience in public accounting, consulting or internal audit.About Our Company
