About the role

As Functional Process & Controls Automation Specialist, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be a partner to the business \xe2\x80\x93 involved as much in;

• Executing the Process and Controls automation strategy, with a strong emphasis on project delivery and documentation.
• Independently driving a diverse portfolio of process and controls automation projects, utilizing advanced technologies including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Celonis (process mining), and SAP Finance Process and Controls capabilities.
• Overseeing the complete project lifecycle, from planning and design to building and deployment, collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Leveraging deep functional expertise in finance to guarantee the smooth integration and optimization of these technologies, resulting in enhanced efficiency and compliance within financial processes.

Main duties and responsibilities

As part of the team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll provide drive operational excellence in financial control, both across Company x and relevant third-party providers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work on technology led programmes to support financial control programmes for business-as-usual, project and transformational activities across the 3 lines of defence, addressing SOx and other compliance requirements. Building strong working relationships to understand organisational/governance areas of Company x will be pivotal.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely at an enterprise level to support end-to-end process thinking and optimise, simplify and automate Finance processes and controls

Essential requirements

• Experience of financial processes and controls requirements
• SAP and S/4 functional understanding,
• Experience of working with automation technologies such as Celonis & RPA
• Outstanding influencing and communication skills, written and verbal
• Rigorous thinking and execution capabilities
• Pragmatic approach, ability to simplify complex ideas and capabilities
• Highly motivated self-starter; ambitious team and enterprise player.
