Position Summary with Job Responsibilities Purpose of the position / Position Summary We are looking for a customer-focused, business-oriented Analytics manager who will be responsible for conducting analyses using advanced statistics and data mining techniques to enable better decision making w.r.t product quality, reducing warranty and improving reliability of products. This role will have exposure to senior leadership teams and help Tata Motors achieve its strategic priorities Job Responsibility Translate conceptual questions into data-driven analyses to allow leaders to make informed decisions w.r.t. product quality, failures rates, incidences per thousand vehicles, batch wise analysis and other metrics Predictive maintenance and part failure Modelling for all Automotive components for use in multiple used cases Analyse Claims data for unexpected/anticipated behaviours and highlighting for audits of such items Inform, influence, and execute new quality initiatives that are data driven and meaningfully shift core metrics in the positive direction Education Bachelor of Engineering Work Experience Skills Domain understanding of Quality and reliability related used cases Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modelling and data engineering techniques : how to select, build, solve, and analyse models using methodology such as parametric and non-parametric statistics, weibull, forecasting, machine learning, optimization, stochastics, and simulation Strong Proficiency in programming in Python Relevant Experience : 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a quality and reliability analyst/analytics manager.
