Job description

This is a Senior finance Manager position for Collins Aerospace \xe2\x80\x93 Engineering and Digital Technologies having locations in Hyderabad and Bangalore. This position will report to Associate Director \xe2\x80\x93 Finance and have 3 direct reports. This position will extensively partner with local and global stakeholders (Engineering, Global and local finance, tax, Supply Chain, Legal, HR etc.)

• Lead month close activities completion as per timelines for both entities; Review of variance analysis of costs every month and forecasts for P&L, Capex and headcount; Analyzing and reporting major drivers of the variance
• Partnering with functional and engineering leaders for AOP, LRP and general business trends
• Assistance to Corporate tax, transfer pricing team on specific transaction related queries
• Provide inputs for monthly PDPR /business reviews
• Review of business case for capex projects (IRR/NPV/ Payback etc.)
• Prepare decks for AOP / LRP for functional review meetings with Engineering leadership
• Maintaining an appropriate controls environment for the organization and partnering with leaders to ensure appropriate remediation
• Partnering with the engineering leadership on specific ad hoc engagements and transaction related queries (GST, Indirect taxes, imports etc.)
• Oversight of the accounting controls and tax function
• People management. Design, develop and oversee the implementation of the medium- and long-term goals of the finance team in alignment with the Corporate goals
• Role requires onsite presence of 3 days

Skillset requirement

• Expert Knowledge of Accounting requirement; USGAAP, Ind AS (IFRS), SOX and regulations
• Basic knowledge on Indian taxes (Corporate taxes and GST)
• Working knowledge of SAP and HFM
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, PPT, Word)
