As a Senior Manager - Environment Health Safety & Security, to be a point of contact for India commercial business and act as a facilitator for commercial EHS projects, driver safety program and related activities. Work with leadership team from Commercial, HR, Compliance, Facilities, EHS, Health & Wellbeing, Security and Legal to ensure establishment of EHS Internal Control Framework in India commercial organization. As a Senior Manager - Environmental Health Safety & Security, you will be responsible for setting strategy and providing governance related to Environmental Health Safety Standards and providing day-to-day support delivery of environment programs in the major company site(s). This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include following: a. Provide technical EHS consultation, designs, develops, implements and oversees the organization's environmental and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all commercial facilities are in compliance with regulations. b. Manage Driver Safety: o Work with regional commercial safety and driver safety project leaders to support project deployment in India o Act as subject matter expert on various EHS topics and programs with a focus on Driver Safety o Investigate the road accidents in India in which our employees are injured to gather learnings and share with the commercial organization o Look beyond internal driver safety program to bring learnings from different industries to bring fresh ideas to foster continuous improvement o Influence leaders and associates within the India Commercial business to embed GSK Life Saving Rules in GSK India Pharmaceuticals culture c. Manage the employee health and wellbeing program for GSK Pharmaceuticals India and partner with regional and global HR and EHW team d. Provide expertise on risk mitigation plan development and monitoring actions progress. Ensure robust assessment & control GSK commercial EHSS risks, e.g. life and driver safety, health and resilience. e. Guides country and site leadership on compliance requirements internally and externally as it relates to relevant EHS programmes f. Assist with planning and conducting EHS audits and action tracking from audits g. Leverages internal / external subject matter expertise and other teams to delivers the required results and quality of support h. Support the company on driving EHSS agenda under ESG umbrella for GSK India Pharma i. Lead the GSK India Pharma Commercial EHS Governance forums and escalate EHS risks to leadership and RMCB j. Lead and actively engage in Environmental Health & Safety Standards (EHSS) gap analysis and closures for commercial k. Develop and participate in health and wellbeing engagement activities for Commercial business l. Scan for emerging relevant legislation and support the commercial team in updating legal registers m. Prepare, plan and deliver EHS awareness and promotion events in commercial business n. Work with facilities team to ensure healthy & safe workplace for employees based out of the GSK India Pharma office premises Country Security Champion (India) related responsibilities includes: a. Deliver security assurance at site level/country level where applicable, conduct threat assessments as needed with support from HoS, act as an ambassador for security in location, drive/assist with security awareness programmes b. Protect our people: Advise site/unit colleagues on personal security matters, provide immediate in-country close support to colleagues. Including business travelers, Oversee site 'people control' processes c. Protect our places: Lead/oversee/advise on security matters for site minor works, Implement/assist with LCAM of security equipment, Facilitate CS Site Security Assurance program d. Incident management: React, triage, record, report and/or respond to site security incidents, using incident management system, Escalate/own/delegate management of incidents as appropriate e. Crisis management: Provide security advice and expertise to the crisis team, as required by Plan Owner / Crisis Leader f. Governance: Lead on implementation of security related Corrective or Preventative Actions and/or observations, as directed by Site Director/General Manager; Oversee site manned guarding operations and governance forums with security service providers g. Commitment:

• Act as the point of contact for all security issues and matters on site, as described in the list above and agreed with their HoS
• Attend liaison meetings with their HoS, at a frequency agreed with the HoS
• Attend security training and awareness sessions, where available and as advertised
• Attend Regional and Corporate conventions, where available and relevant

Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• 7 - 10 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety
• Experience in managing driver safety or road safety for field / sales employees for a reputed MNC

Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Post Graduate Degree, MBA (PGDISEM) from NITIE or similar tier 1 college
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in line and matrix teams
• Experience working in positions requiring strong customer focus
