Environment Health Safety Manager Property and Asset Management
What this job involves
Supports the Corporate and client Platform EHS program and direction; maintains and submits reports as required;
Assist with the coordination of the Crisis Management Team;
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting, perform other EHS duties as assigned;
Coordinates/manages emergency management drills and exercises to test orgranizations' systems and response capabilities;
Lead and assist with internal audit inspections related to the EHS program requirements
Ability to develop SOP's for the organization;
Participates in EHS/Facility budget preparation and tracking; establishing and monitoring progress toward company goals;
Provides Leadership in the 5S
Ability to effectively communicate with internal employees as well as staff from external organizations;
Manage direct reports, consultants and/or contractors supporting this role;
Where applicable, establish working relationship with contractor/customer safety committees;
Facilitates and manages company safety committee and safety improvement teams;
Is responsible for annual update, distribution, and training of the Emergency Response Procedures;
Other duties as required and assigned;
Lead the development of an EHS strategy for JLL to ensure continuous improvement and sustainability for all aspects of EHS.
Plan and coordinate for internal and external audits.
Coordinate with external agencies and ensure that all licence and permits are renewed on time .
Keeping track of changes in the regulation as per govt directive and ensure implantation and compliance
Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the systemInspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
Requirements:
Continuous professional development by attending EHS professional organization meetings;Excellent leadership, management, oral/written communication, interpersonal, intuitive, and analysis skills.
Energetic and self-motivated player/builder at ease in high-stress, fast-paced environments with emerging and multiple responsibilities
Familiar with ISO requirements;
Experienced professional with the ability to manage difficult situations, leverage limited resources and design emergency management programs;
Ability to develop SOP's for the organization;
Position is located in Hyderabad
Proficient Collaborator: easily partners with and gets things done with and through others;
Holds peers and site leadership team accountable for performance;
Inspecting and evaluating the work environment, processes, to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and standards;
Above average computer skills with the ability to proficiently use the Microsoft Office;
Ability to plan, coordinate, motivate and direct the work of subordinate staff;
Recommending changes to protect and educate workers on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs;
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively train, motivate, and communicate with employees, supervisors and customers.
Individual to have detailed knowledge about EHS and relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
Decision making. analytical and critical thinking. customer centricity and problem solving.
Qualification and experience:
Graduation or post-graduation in industrial safety
Certification in NEBOSH / IOSH certifications Is advantage
Experience:
Leading EHS function for 8 to 10 years, At least 2/3 years IT and ITES Industry.
