Job Description







Accountabilities & Responsibilities


1.
CSR Program Management, Planning, Implementation and monitoring

  • To Work in conjunction with the project implementation team and implementing partner.
  • Accountable towards development of organic farming etc. at field level with involvement of the community.
  • Conceptualizing capacity building programs on sustainable agriculture development for farmers.
  • Facilitate farm-based livelihood development activities such as goat rearing, livestock management, poultry and other allied Agri -business models.
  • To monitor and provide support in field implementation.
  • Facilitate farm-based livelihood development activities like commercial cropping.
  • To inculcate elements of business orientation among FPOs, and entrepreneurs by way of intensive orientation.
  • To establish Business / market linkage.
  • To counsel and guide prospective Agri-entrepreneurs on their business idea and support them by developing a bankable business plan.
  • To create awareness and encourage local entrepreneurs to start Agri-enterprises towards strengthening rural economy.
  • To produce quality field reports and documentation etc. for internal and external communication purposes.
  • MIS and reporting as per monitoring framework of the project.
  • To conduct periodic review and planning meeting with project implementation team.
  • Liaison with government line departments. To actively participate in and contribute to all team processes leading to programme development, management and effective functioning of the team.





Skills & Knowledge



Educational Qualifications & Certifications: Preferably a Master\xe2\x80\x99s / post graduate in agribusiness / agriculture from a reputed institute.



Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience: Substantial knowledge and experience in the development field and working on agriculture development programs preferably in CSR space (at least 4-5 years).



Functional Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills
  • Preferably should have understanding and experience of CSR and sustainability related work.
  • Good project management and partnership management skills
  • Ability & willingness to multi-tasking and working under pressure of deadlines
  • Good track record of line management and mentoring of team(s)
  • Excellent computer skills using Word, Power-point, Excel etc. Excellent writing, reading and speaking skill in English , Hindi and Gujarati



Behavioural Skills:
  • Strong ability to build relationships, interface with a large number of people and network with people and institutions working in social sector.
