Description
The Infrastructure Operations Authority provides expert knowledge on the operation and management of central and/or local data centres, legacy and/or centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements to support the availability of Vodafone IT applications and Data Centre activities and database environments. The Infrastructure Operations Authority focusses on activities that ensure the availability and effective functioning of internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external). Including monitoring of hardware and software in datacentres, and executing event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Typically reports to the Senior Infrastructure Manager. REST API design, develop, implement, test and governance of APIGEE API and/or Public cloud API platforms.#_VOIS
Job Responsibility
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Experience with design and development of REST API platform using Apigee/APIM, converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa.
- Experience with Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OATH2, SAML)
- Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications etc. using Apigee
- Proficient in SQL, noSql and Stored Procedures such
- Understanding requirements and writing technical architecture documents
- Experience with Unix, Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with Scrum and other Agile processes.
- Knowledge of Jira, Git/SVN, Jenkins
- Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools desirable
- Experience with Integration frameworks (e.g., Mule, Camel) desirable #_VOIS
