Senior Manager - Axiom Access Rights Mgmt

As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward a greater focus on the use of data and data-driven insights, we are seeking an Associate Scientist for our Data Sourcing & Solutions team. The role sits across the IDA Department to make sure customer requirements are properly captured and transformed into actionable data specifications. Success in the role will require a focus on proactive management of the sourcing and management of data from source through usage.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
Working as part of IDA Data Controls team create an Access Rights Management governance function for business and privileged users of Axiom (AXAXL Strategic Analytics Platform).

  • Protection of AXAXL customer data that is stored and processed in Axiom is paramount for IDA Data Controls team. Therefore, the successful candidate will require end to end experience of business requirements, IT IAM tooling and the establishment of IAM processes to meet regulatory requirements i.e. GDPR etc.

  • The first task will be to document and gain an understanding of \xe2\x80\x98as is\xe2\x80\x99 Access Rights Management processes. Following this establish KPIs and a continuous improvement plan.

  • This role will operate transversally across business functions, data teams, compliance functions and GT services. Therefore, business transformation skills and good stakeholder management experience is paramount.

In addition, the candidate will be required to understand:
o Design and development of IAM services.
o Optimization of IAM tooling to meet business and regulatory requirements.
o Develop and implement IAM policies and procedures for bespoke data lake Azure services
o Experience in interpreting and implementing the rule of least privilege.
o Experience of managing IT IAM audits.
o Experience of IAM project management, business requirements gathering to ensure migration to new tooling is fir for purpose on day 1.
o Experience of ISO 27k requirements.

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of identity and access management best practices.


  • Documenting IAM processes and procedures.
