We are looking for a Senior Layout Manager to join our Electronic Memory Design Engineering team. The successful candidate will lead a group of layout designers to implement layout and run layout verification flows as well as drive floor planning of large blocks and preparing full chip layout database for the memory design projects. Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of motivated layout designers to support custom circuit layout, pitch limited layouts, leaf level layout, floor planning for full chip and large blocks.
• Own the implementation of layout and layout verification flows like DRC, LVS, Density Check, Antenna, Power Delivery, ESD, latch-up etc.
• Enable & own the floor planning of large blocks or full chip and supervise the floor planning of sub blocks.
• Lead the assembly of full chip layout database to deliver final GDS to the manufacturing fabs.
• Communicate effectively across functional teams including design, verification, TD and CAD.
• Develop & drive layout methodology from early chip planning to tapeout including integration of APR blocks.

Qualifications
10 years of experience in the field of CMOS layout in memory projects. Associate degree is preferred. Skills: Required:

• Excellent people skills with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including analog & logic design engineers, mask designers, CAD, and TD.
• Strong understanding of layout methodology from pathfinding, chip planning to tapeout.
• Self-motivated, creative thinking, strong debug skills, mentoring, motivational and positive attitude.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso Design & Layout Suite, Calibre DRC tool.
• Experience of integrating pitch cell layout and APR blocks into full chip layout.
• Layout experience with NAND or DRAM or SRAM or similar memory technologies.

Preferred:

• 
  Able to learn and understand complex design rules in the PDK architecture.
• Experience with Physical Verification System (PVS), Pulsic Unity, RedHawk or similar tools.
• Strong debug and problem-solving skills for all layout verification flows.
• Experience of Analog matching techniques, complex signal routing, power bus routing, guard rings requirements, ESD structures etc.
