Regularly interact with government officials. Try to bring tender guidelines as close with Revised Operational Guidelines Monitor and guide team on government tender requests/ RFP for insurance programs and be present for required meetings to get tender details. Follow up with government officials to get clarifications on expectations and to collect data on weather, historical yields, crop-wise sum insured, areas sown etc. Share all available data with the Underwriting team. Respond to any further clarifications and data needed for the tender. Receive final tender/ bid to be submitted by BAGIC.
Sales Management and Profitability
Understand the terms and conditions of the tender and accordingly implement the business in the said location where the tender has been won Ensuring that there is compliance of the process as per the terms and conditions of the tender Conduct Farm level surveys - to assess actual losses. Engage vendors for surveys, where required. Ensure payment of claims as per agreed calculations. Lead team to participate in critical meetings with the district manager, state anchor and other relevant stakeholders to understand the operations and undercurrents Monitor and guide district head at BAGIC to educate and facilitate the banks to insure 100% of the loanee farmers Monitor the enrolment of farmers for insurance and documentation of the same and facilitate booking for both loanee and non-loanee farmers Work with Operations team to ensure issuance of policies and monitor reports for each area and insurance unit. Communicating with banks on claims Communication to any state head or government official for resolution of issues faced Envisaging and executing the marketing strategy of company for crop insurance
