Job Title Sr. Manager, Admissions and Outreach Location Mumbai, Maharashtra Job Responsibilities* Processing of Admission Applications: Evaluate and process admissions applications according to school policies and guidelines for admissions decision making Ensure accurate record keeping of applications, acceptance offers, rejections, and withdrawals and regular compilation of admissions reports Organize in-person and telephonic admissions interviews by coordinating with applicants and the school officials Serve as a resource for applicants regarding admissions procedures, eligibility requirements, and programs offered by answering associated queries Assist Head of Admissions and Outreach in creation and amendment of admissions policies and represent the admissions office as required Recruitment and Outreach: Assist the Marketing department with the development and execution of the marketing plan by keeping abreast of the latest higher education admissions trends Help create and distribute promotional materials for admissions to increase brand recognition and achievement of enrolment goals Coordinate and conduct programs for targeting and recruitment of prospective students through activities such as campus tours, on site admissions programs, high school visits, etc. Efficient implementation of outreach initiatives like delivering presentations and interactive sessions, participation in career fairs etc., representing the institution at open houses and forums that present an opportunity to be face-to-face with relevant stakeholders for admission, from prospective candidates to institutional heads Managing events such as PR events, press briefings, open houses conducted by the institution Organizing academic workshops run by faculty at other colleges or partner sites Nurturing and managing existing and prospective relationships with school administrators, counselors and third parties/business associates to set up interactions with students and parents of target groups Building new relationships with schools, increasing market reach and penetration in assigned geographies Be proactive in identifying opportunities and innovative methods to conduct outreach Miscellaneous: Maintain high standards of information and awareness about the school\'s admissions policies and guidelines Analyze trends in student applications and recruitment programs for strategic improvement to the pre-existing processes Preferred Qualifications 5-9 years of experience working in Higher Education Institutions Post Grauate degree from a reputed institution Understanding of the Indian Higher Education landscape and related policies Demonstrable experience in sales to achieve set targets Prior knowledge of the legal education admissions funnel and experience in the conversion of leads to applications is desirable Passion for building world-class institutions of higher education Keen interest in technology, social media marketing Proficiency in MS Office Excellent communication and presentation skills Compensation: Competitive and commensurate to qualifications and as per standard industry benchmarks.
