Preparing, reviewing, approving and distributing the instructions for the production of intermediates or APIs according to written procedures.



To Produce APIs and intermediates according to pre-approved instructions.



To ensure reviewing all production batch records and ensuring that these are completed and signed.



Making sure that all production deviations are reported and evaluated and that critical deviations are investigated and the conclusions are recorded.



To handle the equipment/ utility/ facility qualification programme as per SOP/GSOP.



To ensure that new and modified facilities and equipment are qualified



To ensure that production facilities are clean and when appropriate disinfected.



To ensure that the necessary calibrations are performed and records maintained.



To ensure that the premises and equipment are maintained and records maintained.



Evaluating proposed changes in product, process or equipment.



Coordination with ware house for the procurement of raw materials to meet production targets.



To enhance productivity by reduction in time cycle, and consistent quality and yield.



Management of process waste like effluent and solid waste.



To ensure that validation protocols and reports are reviewed and approved.



Planning the re processing / reworking of non-conforming product.



Reporting of departmental performance for management review.



To arrange training for team related to GMP, Safety practices, process parameters, hygiene and to ensue that this is followed.



Improve the house keeping and keep the plant clean and dry and to maintain the plant all time ready for internal as well as external audit.



Control & process parameter to maintain Zero failure and to achieve standard yield.



Work on continuation by improvement in yield, reduce TRT and use of recovered solvent



To monitor preventive maintenance schedule and ensure the preventive maintenance of equipment is done within the due date.
