Job Description

-To implement new requirements regarding Linux infras and support them.
-Working experience and knowledge on Linux OS administration and support
-Work in a shared services model, 24/7 support.
-To provide the highest level of technical support
-Quick troubleshooter of Linux related issues.
-AWS cloud knowledge is mandatory
-Understanding of a broad range of cloud technologies including S3, EC2, EBS, VPC, and Cloud Health.
-Implementing AWS Infrastructure services like EC2, VPC, ELB, EBS, S3, SES, RDS, elastic beanstalk, CloudFront,Route53
-Strong working knowledge of Cent OS/Red hat and other Linux versions is essential
-Good problem solving skills especially in handling Linux related issues.
-Knowledge in Amazon cloud and Azure cloud platforms is added advantage.
-Monitor all Linux servers for performance issues and stability concerns.
-Knowledge in My SQL, DHCP, LDAP, SSL, SMTP, FTP, DNS is essential.
-Knowledge in DevOPS/AWS technologies preferred
-Experience in Apache web servers is mandatory
-Knowledge in Linux mail servers.
-Working knowledge of Network fundamentals.
-Monitor and tune the operating system to achieve optimum performance levels, efficiency and reliability.
-Regular application installations, configurations, and day-to-day administration.
-Knowledge in Linux Backups (configuration, administration and maintaining).
-Virtualization Knowledge.
-Daily support, helpdesk tickets, monitoring, maintenance and administration of various systems such as: server backups and troubleshooting, checking error logs and resolutions.
-Knowledge in JBOSS will be an added advantage.
-Knowledge in Windows and other OS will be added advantage.
-Basic hardware knowledge required.
-Quick Learner and the ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks.
-Certified in Linux technologies (RHCE etc.) preferred
-Degree in Computers preferred (Preferably Engineering degree holders).
-Good communication (Verbal and Written) skills which helps in the smooth interaction with users.
-Good team player and able to follow team policies and processes.
