This temporary position as an M&A Legal professional requires expertise in providing legal support for mergers and acquisitions within the automotive industry. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Conduct due diligence to identify potential legal risks in transactions.
• Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders during M&A processes.
• Collaborate with external counsel and regulatory authorities as required.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
• Monitor legal developments relevant to the automotive industry and advise accordingly.
• Support other legal matters within the department as needed.

• A degree in Law from a recognised institution
• 8-12 years of post qualification experience
• Experience in handling mergers and acquisitions, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of corporate laws and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
