Your Role and Responsibilities

Suitable candidate will join Kyndryl\'s Cloud Network Services (CNS) - Office Connect (OC) Tower as a Network Engineer and will work as part of the team managing the office wired and wireless infrastructure. The position is part of the team that is responsible for the service ownership for OC globally and within this group sit the functions of Service Management, Transition, Design and Engineering. This role with have a primary focus on the Service Management and Transition elements. The positions expect to have a participation in automation efforts within OC function, work to create and maintain the infrastructure inventory and support the budgeting for OC as a whole.
Essential Functions of the Job:

• Service improvement plans for office connect services.
• Budget preparations.
• Project management and reporting for the domain driven Activities.
• Coordination with Area Relationship Mangers and Other business units to Identify the business requirements.
• Performance Matrix reporting
• Support the automation effort within the CNS function.
• Management of network device inventory.
• Optimization of spend in the OC Tower.
• Support the standardisation of network documentation and processes.
• Participation in OC Projects to create the design as per Kyndryl standards.
• Participation in Infrastructure projects and work in co-ordination with Engineering group to complete the implementation phase.
• Transition the completed projects to Operations group with relevant knowledge sharing and documentation.
• Manage office relocations from a networking perspective.
• New Wi-Fi implementations and troubleshooting.
• End of Life (EOL) network refresh and budget planning.
• Executing on LAN audit results.
• Co-owner of network automation with Operations team.
• Implement audit recommendations for the network environment.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

• Proactively anticipate project needs and work with the project manager and cross function teams to select and implement the most appropriate solution according to the network standards.
• Engage with project managers and business leaders to identify the business needs for respective regions and include them to the Office connect planning.
• Sound analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required to manage technical challenges from multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Candidate should have 10 to 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.
• Knowledge in Scripting languages like Python, PowerShell.
• Network automation skills with Ansible and Python.
• Strong knowledge and experiences in wireless design solutions, Implementation, and

troubleshooting.

• Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the networking domain with intermediate

knowledge of complementing infrastructures.

• Small and Medium Branch Office Routing, Switching & Wireless LAN technologies.
• LAN, Internet connectivity & related technologies (MPLS, IPSEC VPN, LAN Optimizers, Rate

Limiters, QoS, etc.).

• Infrastructure Services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc.)
• Experience in Load Balancer platforms like Citrix NetScaler.
• Network Monitoring & Management Platforms.
• Exposure to various facets of and branch office build-out including planning, designing and

implementation of facilities and structured cabling solutions.

• Experience in evaluating, adapting, and implementing multi-vendor global LAN networks for

integrated (voice, video, data) traffic using various connectivity means, including MPLS,
IPSEC VPN and others.

• Understanding various perimeter security solutions technologies in the data centre and

branch office environments including firewalls, remote access VPNs, IPS/IDS systems and
Secure Web Gateway solutions is desirable.

• Strong ability to document processes, procedures, and network designs clearly and

accurately for distribution to internal teams and customers.

• Communication and presentations skill.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal, presentation skills

essential.

• General technical skills designing, documenting, and implementing Infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge in SDWAN and Cloud technologies are preferred.
• Sound knowledge of ITIL practices to support the within OC Tower.

• Candidate must be flexible to the demands of the project and may require out of office hours work.
