Majesco is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Testing for Majesco ClaimVantage Salesforce-native insurance claims management product line. You will work closely with subject matter experts to help create strong test coverage ensuring high quality standards for Majesco\'s ClaimVantage Product Suite. Majesco has been identified in the \'Visionary\' Quadrant as per Gartner\'s report for L&A Product vendors in North America.

All About the Role:

  • Ensure highest quality of the software through best practices in testing the software that can provide delightful customer experience.
  • Participate/Define test strategy for the product suite that aligns with the release scope and ensures maximum coverage using optimum resources.
  • Participates in the functional & business scenario walkthroughs.
  • Analyzes new requirements, stories, scenarios, and rules to develop test plans, scenarios, test conditions, test cases, test data and expected results.
  • Executing detailed test cases within a complex software environment (System, Integration, and Regression) comprising of multiple functional modules & applications to ensure an end-to-end application & transactional integrity.
  • Conducts ad-hoc/exploratory/negative testing to ensure the application can handle surprises.
  • Build out matrix-based models to maximize scenarios where multiple combinations are possible to ensure all patterns possible for a transaction are covered.
  • Develop custom macros, innovative approaches, and utilities to increase productivity and provide suggestions for automation.
  • Ensure that Quality software is delivered as per the key Quality metrics like Defect Density, Story Point Velocity, Defect Inflow post adoption, Automation Regression Backlog - that are defined for the product suite.
  • Ensure On-Time test case creation, review, and execution of product features as per the Product Roadmap.
  • Enter all information in the defect tracking & test case management tools & create appropriate dashboards to ensure a clear visibility into the quality trends.
  • Work in collaboration with Developers, Architects, BAs and Automation Test team to ensure functional coverage and resolve issues.
  • Conduct walkthrough sessions with customer and resolve queries with conviction.
  • Report test execution in a manner which is easy to understand and actionable.
  • Embrace test-driven development processes and adhere to SAFe practices to ensure compliance with organizational objectives
What You\'ll Bring:

  • 4+ years experience of working for an insurance carrier in operations OR QA/UAT of an insurance carrier OR 6+ years experience testing on other vendor platforms in the group insurance space

  • A business focused view to the testing & certification of the Product
  • Passion for root cause analysis, and keen sense of quality over everything else principle
  • Exposure to Automation Frameworks / Tools and a strong focus on increasing automation testing
  • Ability to visually represent the test coverage of complex business processes and dependency of various attributes across the application - Design the Test Scenarios
  • Strong process-oriented approach to ensure predictability and quality in the deliverables.
  • Strong business understanding to visualize end to end functional flows.
  • Ability to seamlessly work with remote teams across geographies and time zones.
  • Ability to learn new business domains quickly.
All About You:
  • Experience of working in SAFe projects and well conversant with Agile processes, metrics, and implementation.
  • Embraces a strong drive for collaboration and learning.
  • Good expertise of test data creation, test case management, test case recording, reporting. Experience in tools such as Jira, Zephyr to achieve the same is added advantage.
  • Willing to work on hands-on from writing test cases, executing and reporting.
  • Should have inclination to automate things rather than to manually execute repetitive tasks.
  • Willing to take ownership of multiple business area and become expert in it.
  • Good understanding of QA (Quality Assurance) methodologies, Life Cycle and processes
  • Detail oriented good analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills
  • Ability to think of end-to-end business scenarios and bring in an end user perspective.
  • Clear track record of being a self-starter with demonstrable outcomes that show a clear benefit to the organization in the current role.
  • A desire to learn Salesforce Platform (Salesforce is the fourth largest software company in the world, $17 billion in FY20, guiding $21 billion in FY21)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (shell, Perl, Python etc.)
  • Industry standard certifications such as ISTQB, CAST, CSTE
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Micro Focus or Katalon Studio
Other Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree (or global equivalent) in Computer Science or related field; Master\'s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience within a software services environment; at least 5 years of insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of business processes in the area of Group insurance or individual life insurance with clear expertise in at least one of the following areas - new business, UW, policy/client servicing, Billing or Claims
  • Salesforce Lightning Platform experience
  • Certifications LOMA, Salesforce Administrator Certification
