We are looking for a Senior/Lead Java Developer to join us! In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to project teams of software architects and engineers. Responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues. What you\'ll do: In a typical day as a Senior/Lead Java Developer , you would: Responsible for developing reliable, cost effective and high quality software Makes design choices and finalizes the design for new feature development. Owns design, coding, unit/functional testing, integration and documentation activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines. Contributes to test automation. . Collaborates and communicates with internal/external stakeholders to provide an insight into progress on various activities Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects. Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members. What you need to bring: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent . Typically 7+ years of experience. Knowledge and Skills: If you are/have Extensive experience with Java, J2EE technologies and scripting languages Strong design and development experience in Core Java(Multi-Threading, Algorithms, Data Structures,) Extensive experience in Multi-threaded client/server application development in Java . Strong design and development experience in Core Java(Multi-Threading, Algorithms, Data Structures,) Good knowledge of: Databases (Relational, In-Memory) and Caching technologies, Cloud , Containers, Telecom, networking , protocols Experience with telecom BSS/OSS software and good exposure to relevant standards, technology and open sources Very good knowledge of Object-oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) and Design Patterns . Good working knowledge of java network programming Experience in Multi-threaded client/server application development in Java Good knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP/HTTP), XML, JMX, JDBC, JMS, LDAP, Java Security etc Experience with telecom BSS/OSS software and good exposure to relevant standards, technology and open sources Working knowledge of databases like Oracle, MySQL Experience with Virtualization and cloud technologies Good grasp of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development and agile methodology Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to analyze and research issues, self-motivated, self- starter, demonstrated team-player.
