We are looking for a Full stack Java Cloud Native Developer to:

• Design and implement new highly scalable system capabilities centered around Java based cloud native solutions + modern web application development using React & Angular.
• Focus on engineering clean solutions reducing complexity, addressing technical debt and support cloud adoption
• Enhance DevOps landscape through highly automated quality assurance, build, and deployment-related tool chains
• Translate client needs / business requirements (functional and non-functional) into robust, well documented solution designs
• Drive excellence and challenge the status quo by speaking up and communicating well both verbally and written with all stakeholders
• Collaborate with your team members across locations to drive delivery

Your team

• you will be part of the CDIO WMPC agile stream (Save, Protect and Grow my Investments) that is responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of applications and services that provides digital banking clients and client advisors, with access to comprehensive financial instruments / products and market data. Our culturally diverse team is based in Zurich, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India.
• our services contribute to our Wealth Management, Personal and Corporate banking businesses with a wide range of investment products tailored to clients across various geographies and all segments. We enable digitalization and globalization of our industry, leading wealth management business.

Your expertise

• held similar software engineering role, ideally for 8-12 years within the finance sector
• hands-on experience in developing & deploying cloud native applications using microservice architecture on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• strong programming experience in Java11 and above version, modern web technologies React & Angular, Application Server/Tomcat in Linux, Windows platforms, Spring boot, Spring MVC frameworks, Hibernate, Junit, Gradle, Maven and Gitlab
• devOps experience, specifically with Git (Gitlab or similar), Infrastructure As Code for Cloud workload, build and deployment pipelines
• strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies and solution delivery lifecycle
• highly committed, self-reliant contributor with a positive attitude, high ambitions and an interest in the future of Finance Technology
• good to have skills: Good knowledge of Mockito, Liquibase, PostgreSQL, APIGEE, Azure Certifications.
