Job Description

As a member of the IT Operations team, you will be involved in all aspects of IT automation, Application support, and monitoring. You will be involved in the development of IT tools and process automation with a focus on reducing and eliminating manual tasks.
Ability to work Under moderate supervision, design, develop, test, debug and implement moderately complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities required to operate, maintain, and control computer systems. Makes moderately complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. Assists in planning, scheduling, and implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule.
We are looking for a Senior IT Operations Analyst with the following technical skills

• 5+ years of relevant IT experience in system administration, Application support, or DevOps engineer
• PowerShell scripting knowledge is a big plus.
• Experience supporting production Infrastructure environments, On-Call support, and working within an ITSM control structure
• Experience working in both public and private cloud environments
• Knowledge of application deployment tools and deployment processes.
• Practical experience with Datacenter buildouts using automation.
• Hands-on Experience on Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps. Knowledge of IAAS/PAAS on Windows Azure Cloud Platform
• Troubleshooting issues with Windows servers.
• Experience in deploying applications like Web apps, Web Services, and applications hosted on IIS/Azure Service Environments/Azure Service Fabric.
• Hands-on Experience in IIS administration.
• Knowledge of application deployment and Build Repo tools like Azure DevOps/GIT/Octopus
• Incident and change management process knowledge – ITIL is preferred
• ITIL experience and experience on Release and Build deployment experience
• Understanding of various monitoring tools (Eg: AppDynamics, Opsramp, PagerDuty, SCOM)
• Experience in Application Operations and Azure DevOps skills are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to mentor, lead the team on complex, high visibility projects and provide technical guidance.
• Find areas of weakness and drive change by utilizing existing tools or creating of new processes
• Assist in the process of selecting tools that improve IT service while simultaneously working to reduce the number of tools in use
• Embed with waterfall-centric teams to drive adoption of DevOps practices and tooling

• Ability to lead the incident management bridge in the event of application or infrastructure issues, timely completing the root cause analysis.

Job Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a relevant work experience

Preferred Domain Expertise Certificates depending on the role:

Prefered Azure Certified

Preferred Windows Certified
Experience
More than 05 years IT Experience

More than 05 years' experience in an IT Operations Role

More than 05 years' experience working with DevOps or Application Ops.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:
Experience in migrating services to Public Cloud (Azure/AWS)
