As the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, encompassing both hardware and software components. You will work to ensure the seamless operation of critical systems, enhance security measures, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our healthcare BPO operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain all hardware components, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and peripherals. Perform routine hardware diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades as necessary. Ensure hardware assets are inventoried and properly documented. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications used in our healthcare operations. Collaborate with vendors and software providers for issue resolution and updates. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive healthcare data. Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of servers and network infrastructure. Implement best practices for capacity planning and resource allocation. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents promptly. Maintain and enhance IT security measures to safeguard patient data and comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure configurations and procedures. Generate reports on infrastructure performance and incidents for management review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support healthcare-related IT projects. Provide technical expertise and guidance to IT staff and end-users. Operate during regular day shift hours while offering 24/7 on-call support. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management. Strong expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance. Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and HIPAA compliance is a plus. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are advantageous. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
