Business Information: The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\'s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Mission Statement : The Senior Infrastructure Specialist - Windows and Cloud is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the company\'s Windows and cloud infrastructure. This includes tasks such Windows Server Administration, Cloud Administration, Deployments, Policies, Governance, Security, Upgrades, Migrations etc. The person in this role must also be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and act as an SEM / escalation point. Your Responsibilities : Manage and maintain the company\'s Windows and Cloud infrastructure. Manage Windows Server deployments (on-prem as well as cloud) Finetune on-prem as well as cloud-based servers for maximum performance, uptime and availability. Implement and maintain security policies and procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Perform Windows and Azure administration tasks, such as: Manage and implement GPOs. Configuring and managing Azure virtual machines. Implementing and managing Azure security policies. Administer incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with ITIL best practices. Administer patch management processes to ensure that all systems are up to date with the latest security patches. Administer vulnerability management processes to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in the company\'s IT infrastructure. Administer remediation processes to fix security vulnerabilities that have been identified. Administer performance management processes to monitor the performance of the company\'s IT infrastructure. Troubleshoot performance issues to identify and resolve problems that are affecting the performance of the company\'s IT infrastructure. Your Background : Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Windows and cloud administration. Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows networking technologies. Experience with VMware, AWS, or Azure. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with PowerShell scripting. Solid understanding and experience of Azure administration. Experience with Windows 2019, Windows 2016, and previous Windows versions.
