Job Description


Job Summary . Routine BAU maintenance activities . Validating external logging on Security Infra . Working in a business environment responds to incident reports issued by User/stakeholders who have encountered suspicious computer behavior. . Investigate cyber/malware security incidents and threats . Analyzing any suspected malware incident and validating that malware is the cause . Interact with senior stakeholders and leadership teams as part of the response efforts . Improve the detection, escalation, containment and resolution of incident . Enhance existing incident response methods, tools, and processes . Collect, assess and catalogue threat indicators . Maintain knowledge of the threat landscape by monitoring OSINT and related sources . Scripting whenever required achieving short/long requirements. . Analyze programs and software using analysis programs to identify threats . Write alerts to let security personnel know about the latest threats . Understand tools that identify zero day cyber threats and work to protect from them . Ability to setup virtualized environments for malware analysis . Document malware threats and identify procedures to avoid them . Participate in research and development of malware protection tools . Help create documentation for corporate security policies . Assist during noncore business hours during an emergency, critical or large-scale incident . Fine Tuning and strengthen Security infrastructure . Expected basic knowledge malware, Key management, Mobile device management . Analyzing various reports AV/SMS/other security devices to fix the deviation on IN-scope endpoints . Support the design and implementation of effective processes and controls to effectively mitigate ICS risks. Responsibilities Strategy Implement and manage operational processes which delivers outcome focused & timely service delivery. Analyse existing business & functional processes to identify automation opportunities in area of endpoint protection. Recommend process improvements to address control gaps and to enhance efficiency where possible. Support & coordinate with stakeholders in defining automation or remediation actions / solutions. Develop, track & analyse actionable metrics to continuously improve tools, procedures & provide visibility of operations to management. Processes Provide robust challenge and escalation to senior management and all relevant business/function/region stakeholders to ensure activities achieve risk reduction. Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with the 2 nd line Risk & Compliance, 3 rd line Group Internal Audit and Internal Risk Assurance teams to ensure alignment across stakeholder groups People & Talent Practice a proactive self-orienting and self-motivating work ethic. Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations, and work in collaboration with internal & external stakeholders. Regularly share lessons learnt and best practice in a timely manner across a wide-ranging stakeholder group within businesses/functions Risk Management Support liaison with Risk Assurance team on any Group Internal Audit and any regulatory inspections as required. Assist in identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating data management, privacy and record management risks to the Group. Adopt a proactive approach to threat risk assessment through appropriate stakeholder engagement and monitoring of the external environment to improve assurance planning. Work with other risk assurance teams to drive efficiency, effectiveness and reduce duplication. Supporting Strategic Delivery and Risk Reduction Build effective relationships with stakeholders Facilitate the on the job learning from current & previous experience by identifying and communicating transferable lessons, helping to embed these lessons, and encouraging best practice.
