About the role:

Trusted Media Brands is looking for a strong, seasoned Senior Graphic Designer with extensive print knowledge to strengthen our multi-platform brand even further. We want a great thinker who enjoys collaborating and concepting with a team of like minds. Reporting directly to the Creative Director of Consumer Marketing, the Sr. Designer will lead in the creation of smart, consistent design solutions that engage and delight our audiences across all of our brands. About you:

You\xe2\x80\x99re an inspiring, versatile designer with a stunning portfolio of print, digital and branded work. You know how to translate a brand vision into compelling conceptual solutions to build audience and deepen engagement. You have hands-on experience maximizing creative tools, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You\xe2\x80\x99re very hands on and you\xe2\x80\x99re always on the lookout for new tools to bring content to life. You have the ability to bring out the best in the team, forming great working relationships across creative and marketing teams.

Your day-to-day:

• You will collaborate with the Creative Director, art directors, writers and the marketing team to conceptualize and layout designs, from planning the look to choosing font, colors, photography and graphics, based on brand guidelines
• You will design products with creativity and a cooperative attitude toward constructive criticism
• You will lead by example on our small but energetic team of designers, mentoring less-experienced team members
• You will provide training to new employees as requested
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll meet with members of the marketing team to develop campaigns - This includes the creation and design of advertising units for print and digital
• You will consistently make sure current brand standards are being implemented across the brands
• Use our project management software (JIRA) to appropriately manage jobs by deadline and prioritize
• Organize projects, keeping to tight organizational and naming practices, and consistent archival practices
• You will manage digital file assets and delivery, including uploading files to online portals to ensure end product is delivered to printers
• Confirm with marketing managers that complete project information is provided up front on projects
• You will stay up-to-date on current design trends
• You may, on occasion, direct photography

You have:

• 5+ years of professional design experience
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in graphic design, visual arts or related field
• Deep knowledge of the Creative Suite \xe2\x80\x93 InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Experience editing Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of print production techniques and terminology
• Familiarity with digital asset management systems and strong asset management skills
• Experience working in project management software within a creative department
• A keen sense of how to prioritize tasks and to help others keep on track
• Experience mentoring less-experienced team members and providing constructive feedback on design
• A gift for proactive problem-solving and enjoy thinking on your feet
• Proven ability pitch creative solutions, including mood boards or sketches to convey ideas
• Compelling visual and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-task environment
