Introduction Group FP&A Analyst (India) Currently we are seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Group FP&A efforts in providing pertinent and timely analysis of the financial performance of the organisation on a global basis. In this role you will support across the Group, working closely with the other finance teams - commercial, reporting and accounting, you will also have exposure to Senior Leadership (including the CFO). Using your experience and commercial acumen you will consolidate, challenge business assumptions in monthly reporting, forecasting & planning and interpret financial analysis to enable our stakeholders to make key decisions and achieve targets and drive performance. This role will offer exposure globally and across the various business units, requiring you to develop a breadth of understanding of all of our businesses.You must have strong financial modelling skills, good planning and control discipline. Attention to detail is key in this role. You will be responsible for important tasks such as consolidating the global budget and forecast submissions from across the business, working with business stakeholders to prepare an accurate and timely monthly board report and preparing decks to be presented to the Leadership Team and the Board. Leveraging the features of our cloud based reporting and planning tool - Anaplan - will be key to success in this role. You\'ll build relationships with the reporting and group finance teams to help streamline processes and move the company forward. The scope of this role is wide ranging as this team also takes on ad-hoc work and deep dives in to specific areas as required by the Leadership Team. Accountabilities Key Accountabilities: Support the monthly reporting process including coordinating timely submissions, integration of multiple systems for consolidation, a thorough review process, preparation of executive summary commentary. Work in conjunction with other local and global Finance teams to drive best practice and consistent processes Supporting the monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting process across the Group. Assist in building and maintaining the forecasting process across the shared service areas, including liaising with the relevant budget owners (Senior Leadership). Providing in-depth analysis and insight on the performance of the Group\'s businesses. This requires building strong relationships within Group and businesses globally. Problem solving - ability to create solutions to FP&A requirements through the creation of templates, financial models, proposals, with minimal direction. Developing, maintaining and improving excel-based financial analysis tools to enable modelling, reporting and decision making. Utilise all our systems and key role in developing the consolidated reporting- Microsoft Office (Excel = Advanced level), G-Suite, Anaplan (you will be expected to become a key user of this tool). Experience, skills and professional attributes Work Experience: Professional Finance qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) is essential, 3-4 years PQE. Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including the relationship between three financial statements. Strong financial modelling skills, with the ability to model quickly and accurately under time pressure if required. Experience working with large-scale data and reporting tools and financial systems. A high level of quality and accuracy is required as the audience of the teams\' outputs is typically very senior executives (including the Board, CEO, CFO). Outstanding analytical skills and a proven ability to connect data analysis with business issues and decisions. Experience working in a global business with multiple products, currencies and geographic locations. Excellent presentation and business writing skills and be able to convey a message that is understandable and relevant, linking business issues, financial results and strategy.
