Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Techno functional Role. Keen on understanding systems and data flows. Knowledge on Basic BW functionalities. SAP BPC knowledge. Ensuring Smooth month end close. High quality and timely reporting. Active participation in C&R projects / initiatives. Interact with business for requirement gathering. System implementation / continuous improvements along side with IT
  • Willing to learn and take on new challenges. Identify and drive process improvements. Data analysis of information flowing through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Testing code to ensure that it works properly within the system
  • Work with direct managers to support financial activities, decision making and general projects. Provide timely, proactive support on the general ledger. Maintain accurate and timely fixed asset information in the fixed asset register including assets under construction and depreciation calculations.
  • Prepare analysis or reporting with particular emphasis on accuracy, compliance and timeliness of data provided (i.e.: reports on profit and loss activity). Provide all data needed for internal (Financial Consolidation and Reporting System) and external reporting (including statutory accounts, national statistics and tax information) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provides 'first line support' on SAP issues including fixed assets, cash and general ledger. -Contribute to FRA projects at country or BU level. Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable) The Management Reporting Group is responsible to drive the Novartis Group's management reporting strategy in close alignment with Group ERP, ensuring delivery of best-in-class solutions to Novartis Management, allowing efficient analyses of the business performance and delivering on the Novartis Group objectives of Innovation, Growth, and Productivity.
  • Operationally, the Group must provide management reporting information (e.g. FCRS, NPMR) to BPA across all Novartis Divisions and support FRA Operations to manage Core processes (month end close, BSR, Financial Compliance status reviews). The Group is responsible for managing performance reporting and forecasting tools. This job requires a combination of solid accounting background (IFRS), in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and reporting system understanding.
  • The role of the Reporting Operations analyst will be to support already developed applications that FRA Ops has designed, built, and is maintaining (e.g. MAAP, ASPIRE, NPMR, Synergy Tracking Tool). S/He will also have the responsibility to deliver the required customer support. S/He should enable the organization to manage financial and reporting deadlines and drive productivity via reporting and planning excellence, supporting users to throughout the organization when required.
