What Role Offers:

  • Draw inferences from process details and link these inferences to the big picture by considering business objectives in identifying process improvements. Analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated
  • Support in collaborating with finance delivery teams in a captive Shared Service Center (SSC) to drive high quality service delivery through operational support for finance and accounting process, and timely resolution of process issues
  • Attends to the most appropriate variables, inputs, and their relationships in a financial model, relevant to the business issue (Data Analytics)
  • Uses key financial indicators and measures to optimize the financial decision-making of the company
  • Drive Robotic Process Automation and/or artificial intelligence to drive process efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Accounting and Process design of various finance processes within Procure to Pay function, Data Analytics and Robotics ensuring Process effectiveness and efficiency, complying with accounting standards.
  • Drive collaboration across related processes to ensure E2E engagement and drive solutions
  • Be the key interface with delivery to support accounting, process design and analytical requirements
  • Ensure accounting know how & associated controls becomes embedded in processes
  • Drive standardization
  • Provide support for resolution of process issues related to processes across Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense Reimbursement, Banking & Payments etc. in a timely manner
  • Support process delivery teams with reporting / Data analytics and BI solutions customizations / requirements
  • Typically, the first escalation point of contact for process issues related to Finance operations Delivery
  • Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows. Documenting procedures and presenting new process designs to stakeholders for discussion.
  • Proactively identify & Lead process improvement projects, impacting the function globally
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Applies an understanding of MF Finance and administrative processes, systems, policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Accurately identifies and resolves sources of financial process risks
  • Applies alternative future scenarios and their impact on the long-term business objectives
  • Assist in E2E Process Trainings & ensure SOPs and documentation are up to date
  • Lead process design changes arising due to system transformation, acquisitions, transitions
Required Skills and Experience Education and Experience
  • Accounting graduates with 12-15 years of relevant matching experience
  • Direct relevant experience of working in a Captive SSC / Business Process Outsourcing Organizations required (in addition to years of experience / qualification).
Knowledge and Skills:

Essential:
  • Strong understanding of services delivered by finance teams (Procure to Pay)
  • Indepth understanding of P2P processes & systems (NetSuite / G Treasury/Concur) Expertise in Treasury/ banking systems will be preferred
  • Experience of RPA, Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Flexibility to support different time-zones and geographies
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to clearly articulate expectations and outcomes with various levels of management, both in Finance and Business
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Hands on experience on operating SoX controls and other compliances associated with P2P
Other:
  • Process improvement ideas for effective task management within deadlines, in shared service environment
  • Support and employ six sigma/lean methodologies in processes
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills (MIS reporting)
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decision in situation requiring trade-off
  • Self-motivator with the ability and confidence to work independently and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent team player, enthusiastic, innovative and proactive.
