Receive and analyse customer inquiries and RFQs for Air, Ocean, and Road freight.
Obtain rates from shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotes within the defined turnaround time.
Maintain and update rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing records.
Support the sales team with rate negotiations and spot quotations.
Track market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitiveness.
Customer Service:
Act as a single point of contact for customers on booking, shipment status, and documentation.
Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and transport teams for smooth cargo movement.
Provide timely shipment updates and proactively resolve customer issues or delays.
Handle pre-alerts, delivery orders, PODs, and billing coordination.
Maintain high levels of communication and service quality to enhance customer experience.
Support in customer onboarding, maintaining SOPs, and ensuring service KPIs are met.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in pricing and/or customer service in freight forwarding
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations (Air / Ocean / Road).
Proficiency in rate negotiation and quotation preparation.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving ability.
Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines efficiently.
Knowledge of INCO terms, carrier contracts, and freight documentation preferred.
