Job Title: Senior SCADA Engineer

Location: DMRC (Delhi)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented SCADA Engineer with experience in railway projects to design, develop, and maintain Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for our railway projects. The SCADA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of railway systems by implementing advanced control and monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems for railway projects, including network architecture, HMIs, PLCs, RTUs, and communication protocols.

2. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and clients, to understand project requirements and develop SCADA solutions that meet project objectives.

3. Conduct system integration and testing to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of SCADA systems in railway environments.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA systems, including communication failures, data inconsistencies, and software bugs.

5. Provide technical support and training to project teams and end-users on SCADA system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

6. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to SCADA systems and railway control systems.

7. Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure the successful delivery of railway projects.

8. Comply with safety regulations and industry standards applicable to railway systems and SCADA technology.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master\'s degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining SCADA systems, preferably in railway or transportation projects.

3. Proficiency in SCADA software platforms such as Siemens WinCC, Wonderware System Platform, or similar.

4. Strong understanding of communication protocols used in railway systems, such as TCP/IP, Modbus, DNP3, and SNMP.

5. Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley) and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet).

6. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing SCADA systems in critical infrastructure environments.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

9. Willingness to travel to project sites and work in challenging environments as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Professional certifications in SCADA systems, such as Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA) or Certified SCADA Professional (CSCP).

2. Experience with railway signaling systems, control systems, or other railway-specific technologies.

3. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, and CENELEC standards for railway applications.

4. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools for coordinating SCADA engineering activities in large-scale projects.
