Job description
In your new role you will:

• Development and maintenance of
• Device library components (symbol , call-backs ,cdf , netlist procedures, layout pcell , virtuoso techfiles) and theirarchitecture.
• Techfile for abstract and innovus enablement
• Layout/schematic migration scripts
• Develop complex Pcells using EDA tools (Virtuoso - Cadenceskill/skill++)
• Development and maintenance of component tests
• Work closely with foundry , technology department and designers toalign on specifications
• Work closely with project managers and share development and QAstatus during releases
• Discover and communicate problems with the EDA vendors (about toollimitations and bugs)
• Proactive communication and alignment of possible solutions with allaffected colleagues from the design/CAD groups/PDK teams
• Autonomous development of PDK QA test cases and monitoring resultsusing test infrastructure
• Enhance existing QA methods to catch new bugs on receiving feedback from Design community

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Education - BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MS / Ph.D in Electronics /Computer Science
• Technical / functional experience in years: 2+ years
• Familiar with full-custom and semi-custom designflows/design concepts
• Expertise in developing PDK components - Devicelibraries and techfiles in Cadence/Synopsys environment
• Exposure to EDA tools (Virtuoso, Calibre, QRC, Innovus)and their interfaces with PDK\'s
• Language and software skills:
• Expertise in programming/scripting languages w.r.t Devicelibrary development and QA
• Skill/Skill++/C++/Python/AEL Bash Shell
• Excellent programming skills with computational thinking
• Hands on experience with data management/version controlsystems (svn)
• Hands on experience with gmake automation
• Exposure to issue tracking tools (JIRA) is a definite plus
• General skills :
• Exposure to working with multi-cultural and crossfunctional teams
• Team player who can align/coordinate implementationstopics across sites
• Proactive with good communication (assertive) andinterpersonal skills
• Avid programmer with excellent debugging skills to diagnose and devise workarounds for PDK/flow/design issues
