• Job Summary
• This position is part of Skunkworks team focusing on fast paced innovation across Electrification, Energy Transformation, Digitalization & Regional Growth.
• Team will work on product & technology development of Power Electronics devices such as On-Board & Off-board Chargers, UPS Inverters, Power Converters & Traction Inverters.
• Team is expected to have significant interactions with senior leadership & cross functional team to mature projects from idea to proof of concept stage demonstrating value proposition.
• This role will contribute to design casting enclosures for Electrification devices such as DC - DC converters, Traction Inverters, Power Distribution Units etc for electric vehicle applications.
• Candidate shall have project leadership skills in terms of deriving design boundary from system requirements for engineering design of mechanical components and housing.
• He / she shall possess sound engineering fundamentals related to mechanical engineering product design with respect to form factor, component assemblyt, robust engineering practices against noise factors to meet lifecycle requirements.
• Ideal candidate shall have experience with concept - analysis - selection - prototyping - testing and final production launch of components for the EV applications.

Qualifications

Requirement:

• Bachelors / Master's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics
• 6~ 8 years of Experience in Automotive Industry in Mechanical components design & development preferably EV components
• Conversant with GD&T, DFSS tools, Pro/E, ENOVIA, Engineering Change Management process. Concept - Detailed Design - Prototype - Test cycle experience is ideal Creative Engineering acumen, Collaborative working style, high drive and go-getter in a fact paced project environment
