What you'll be doing...

Lead large scale transformation initiatives primarily on Customer Experience Platform Wireless Provisioning System.

• Understanding the Verizon India 2.0 priorities and capable of driving end-to-end delivery & talent transformation initiatives from Vz India.
• Owning the performance management and mentoring the team.
• Leading the Architecture and discussions for end-to-end Provisioning System and its enhancements in partnership with the product/application development teams. Projects will include new product/feature launches, enhancements, experience redesign and tech stack migration.
• Leading teams to reengineer the platform and define, build & manage micro services-oriented architecture.
• Driving solutions for key business decisions with and throughout the organization to enable alignment and collaboration as new products or enhancements roll out.
• Achieving operational excellence and superior customer experience by building a high-performing team to achieve and exceed Business/IT goals and objectives
• Continually challenging the status quo by understanding the consumer preference and changes in technical landscape.
• Staying connected and informed on the industry practices in the platform and provisioning systems and strategically bring in the learning from the Industry and implement it.
• Working closely with business clients and converting requirements into solutions using best suited enterprise patterns.
• Designing solutions and implementing REST services in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive in a distributed environment.
• Developing solutions using Java 8, Spring Boot technology on assigned tasks with ease.
• Creating rich user experience for the customers using Spring Boot, and REST API's.
• Understanding the application design and work on the development and design of the deliverables assigned.
• Utilizing DevOps tools like GIT, JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins to work on the application deliverables.
• Writing secure code which should not have any vulnerabilities reported.
• Working on AWS cloud and cloud-native applications.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree with four or more years of experience.
• Four or more years of work experience in Java 8 and above, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot framework.
• Experience in Rest Services, MVC patterns.
• Experience in Non-Relational databases like Cassandra.
• Experience in AWS, Instance setup in AWS, Jenkins CICD Pipelines.

Even better if you have one or more of the following

• A master's degree.
• Knowledge on Redis, Basics of Data structures and algorithms.
• A technology certification on Java.
• Two or more years of experience with telecommunication domain.
• Familiarity with OWASP rules and mitigate security vulnerabilities using security tools like Fortify, Sonarcube, Blackduck etc.
