About the role An energetic person who is capable of performing all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle on Embedded control systems used in RTOS based HVAC controls. Must be self-motivated and should have demonstrated history of successful embedded systems software designs. . Work closely with global & local team to create/get the requirements and should analyze the requirements. . Design the system as per requirements. While designing, should provide design alternatives. . Develop the code as per design and test the code . Integrate the developed module with rest of the system . Provide support to others as per the capability . Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements. . Experience with static code check and software unit testing. . Experience with Software and Hardware integration . Ability to use logic analyzers, emulators, debuggers, and other diagnostic equipment . Experience utilizing Agile Software Process Techniques . Relentless root cause/troubleshooting experience. Key Responsibilities: Experience in design and development of complex industrial software. Write high quality code in C & C++ on any RTOS or Linux Cross-platform embedded development and experience with Microcontrollers and toolchains. Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements. Experience with static code check and software unit testing. Experience with Software and Hardware integration Communication Protocols such as I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485,TCP/IP, BacNet, Modbus Ability to use logic analyzers, emulators, debuggers, and other diagnostic equipment Experience utilizing Agile Software Process Techniques Relentless root cause/troubleshooting experience. Desirable Competencies: Experience in embedded software development for HVAC control applications from concept through to production. Hands on expertise on Linux device drivers, multithreading applications Working knowledge on Azure DevOps or JIRA project management tool and git commands Knowledge of Model Driven Development (MBD) - UML, Matlab /SIMULINK, Simulink coder. Knowledge of Hardware design. Knowledge of Configuration Management process.
