Able to design ELV systems for data Centre.
Design and Coordination for ELV systems from Concept till IFC stage.
Carry out shop drawing reviews/approvals.
. Prepare design reports, feasibility studies, and tender documents.
. Supporting team members and Monitor work progress.
. Active participation in IST stage(Including L1 to L3 stages of Testing and Commissioning activities as and when it is required)
Material selection reviews/approvals
To produce designs for Data Centre ELV systems including BMS/CMS, SMS, Fire Protection System and ICT's ensuring they meet the specific needs and requirements of the data center.
To produce specifications for a critical part of ELV installations.
Create and issue ELV systems specifications to contractors.
To develop the ELV systems including developing all necessary drawings, technical submissions, calculations, and descriptions of the operation to construction standard.
To liaise with all sub-contractors and ensure that all drawings are issued with all required information.
To check and approve material submittals with respect to Technical Design
Keeping in regular contact with existing customers
Following up on quotations, queries & enquiries.
Study tender documents and understand client requirements to be able to put together the technical response to tender bids, proposals and quotations.
Evaluate client inquiries, specifications and drawings
Formulate technical and commercial responses with assistance and guidance from other departments as required
Attend client, supplier and third-party meetings on and off site as necessary.
Work closely with Design Department to hand over contracts won by the company. Oversee the Design process, ensuring that quality standards are met.
Understanding/knowledge of electrical & mechanical equipment, financial aspects and technical risk.
. Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in ELV systems to ensure the data center remains at the forefront of technology.
Report and communicate activities effectively and appropriately.
Follow up after tender submission involving tender correspondence and coordination with clients
Engage directly with consultancy (Data Centre audits, best practice etc.)
Act as design lead on consultancy and data Centre design projects
Support the business across its full professional services offering (Design, Consultancy, Site Supervision, Testing & Commissioning and Auditing)
Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine the ELV system requirements, taking into account factors like space, layout, and potential risk.
Develop critical systems including developing all necessary drawings, technical submissions, calculations and descriptions of operation to construction standard and implementation of the ELV systems.
To liaise with all subcontractors and ensure that all drawings are issued with all required information.
To check and approve material submittals with respect to Technical Design
Following on site consultancy, prepare reports, present findings and provide a road map for change (appropriately detailing level of risk and opportunity for improvement)
Work together with Principal consultant/Design Manager of the India/Middle East and other company departments to develop innovative solutions
Work closely with other areas of the business and key staff to overcome complex client requirements
Manage client key accounts successfully and exceed client expectation and response time to queries and tasks.
