Senior Engineer Drive Away Chassis
Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables RESPONSIBILITY: 1. To meet project time micro level planning. 2. First time Right product development by reviewing the DFMEA, IFMEA & DVP 3. Mechanical development of chassis, suspension, steering system and driveline componenents . 4. Prparation & review of DFMEA, DVP (durability and functional) 5. Monitoring and closure of product concern with proper benchmark reference & analysis with 7QC tools. JOB ROLE: 1. Design and development of chassis, suspension, steering system and drivline system & components. 2. Understanding of design funationality to identify the failure modes in component and system level. Correlate with failure modes to evaluate the durability and relability. 3. Bolted joint analysis in the area of Chassis, suspension and driveline system. 4. Hands on expereince on CATIA and Team center 5. Hands on experience on GD&T and stack up analysis 6. Benchmarking/reverse engineering for CA. 7. Coordination with all stake holders & project execution 8. Preperation of Guidelines, Standards. 9. Technical Conferences & publications Experience B.E/B.Tech: 5 to 7 Years ( Mechanical) M.E/M.Tech: 2 to 4 (Mechanical) Industry Preferred Automotive Qualifications BE/B.Tech General Requirements Knowledge of Product data management, Team center Engineering & engineering change release procedures, Product development process/stages.
