JOB DESCRIPTION D Highlight Top / Key Responsibilities for this position 1 Work with team and technical leads to build concept designs & develop final design for NPD & VA/VE programs. 2 Do design calculations, design reviews, develop test plans & execute product validation tests in test lab with the help of testing team. 3 Preparation of design documentation for gate reviews 4 Work closely with manufacturing teams and suppliers to conduct DFMs 5 Preparation of technical files for Product certifications applicable to valve industry 6 Create / Review 3D part & assembly models, 2D manufacturing drawings, engineering BoMs 7 Support sales & marketing literature, technical documentation like IoMs, brochures, TDS etc. 8 E Desired Educational Qualification Bachelor\'s degree in engineering / science Design for Six sigma will be an added advantage F Technical Skills / Knowledge Required 1 Experience in valve design preferably in double offset high performance butterfly valves 2 Proven experience on new product designs, development and engineering calculations 3 Hands on experience with design standards like EN 12516, ASME standards, API 609, AWWA etc. 4 Knowledge about Product certifications 5 Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials used in valve industry 6 Strong mechanical engineering design fundamentals (static mechanics), valve domain experience and engineering tools like CAD, PLM e.g. Inventor, Solidworks, Creo etc. 7 Expertise in Product concept design, design calculations 8 Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams.
