What you'll be doing...

• Designing and building data ingestion and transformation solutions by using GCP Data Analytics Services - Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer (Airflow), Cloud storage, Cloud Functions.
• Developing POC (Proof of Concept) by evaluating technical options for building Data Processing Framework on GCP Platform.
• Designing and building configurable and scalable data processing framework on GCP platform.
• Translating/breaking business requirements down into system/technical requirements and facilitating the same to team and ensure that requirements are prioritized and incorporated in an effective and efficient manner.
• Operationalizing data ingestion and transformation solutions by leading technical team members including Verizon India and vendor team developers/testers on day-to-day activities by resolving impediments.
• Establishing and maintaining cross-functional working relationships with other IT groups (e.g., production support, cloud admin team) and key business stakeholders.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Four or more years of GCP Experience.
• Experience in designing and building data ingestion and transformation solutions for batch process on GCP platform.
• Experience with GCP data analytics services (e.g., Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer (Airflow), Cloud storage, Cloud Function).
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Scala, Java).
• Experience leading data ingestion and transformation solutions.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree.
• Experience with traditional enterprise data warehouse (e.g., Teradata, Oracle).
• Exposure to designing and building data ingestion and transformation solutions for streaming process on GCP platform.
• Experience to CI/CD implementation on Cloud Platform.
• Experience GCP orchestration and workflow scheduler tools.
• Knowledge of core GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, App Engine, IAM).
• Experience on Agile project development.
