Education Qualification with Specialization: PG is must; M. Tech. (Mechanical/Thermal/Aerospace) from reputed institute (IIT/NIT/REC/GCOE) with excellent academic record without any gaps in the education period Experience Required: L1.2 shadow position: Exposu re to tools and domain knowledge would be advantage. Professional experience would be added advantage. Functional skills: Exposure to any of the following skills would be advantage # Executing CAE / CFD simulations for automotive climate control, vehicle thermal management systems and external aerodynamics # CAD data de-featuring to prepare the simulation domain. # Grid generation for the simulation domain # CFD model preparation for run i.e., pre-processing # CFD results post- processing # Reporting results and m aking presentations # Good report writing skills/presentation skills # An inventive/lateral/analytical approach to problem solvin g Domain Knowledge: # Basic domain knowledge of passenger vehicle heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, vehic le power train cooling systems and, exhaust and after treatment systems # A good understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer and thermodynamics # Understanding/exposure to Computational Fluid Dynamics - finite volume and Lattice Boltzmann methods Tool skil ls: Exposure to any of these tools would be advantage # 3D CFD flow solvers tools as Ansys Fluent, EXA PowerFlow, PowerTherm, Power Acoustics, NanoFluidX, AcuSolve, StarCCM+, CFX, TAITHERM, OpenFoam etc.
