Olam Global Business Services (OGBS) is a captive unit that offers End to End business process and analytics solutions. At this moment, OGBS is located in City of Chennai, India and provides its services to over 20 countries. Job Summary

• The Senior UI Developer will be responsible for building and implementing top-notch user interfaces using JavaScript and the Angular framework.
• Working with the business to understand processes and capture requirements.
• Analysis and design of functions, components, applications, and entire systems; across n-tier client, server, and database layers.
• Writing efficient JavaScript code using HTML and CSS
• Using the latest front-end technology, creating adaptable interfaces for online apps.
• Application implementation as part of a team or individually.
• Robust application testing skills.
• Status reporting both to business and technology management.
• Maintenance and support of production applications including enhancements and bug fixes.
• Working closely with other development teams to further strategic technology goals.
• Acquiring business knowledge and trading system knowledge to further individual development.

Profile Description

• 4+ years of experience in design led application development delivering Responsive Web applications using Angular, HTML, Web Development tools
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
• Experience in developing to a Mobile first and devoice agonistic philosophy
• Passion for using CSS preprocessors / preprocessor platforms like LESS and SASS
• Experience in MVC UI frameworks
• Should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Working with Design and Experience teams
