Job Title Senior UI Software Engineer (Angular, JavaScript)

Job Summary As a Senior UI Software Engineer with strong User Interface Engineering skills, you thrive on understanding and translating customer needs into new products and capability. You apply deep technical expertise and experience in software application layer solutions, to develop and deliver scalable design blueprints across the end-to-end software development life cycle. Your continuous learning and improvement mindset, collaboration and influencing skills are critical to success in this role.

• Strong Angular skills with working experience of 8+ years.
• Working knowledge of the use of Accessibility Tools \xe2\x80\x93 Compliance and guidelines and understand how they can assist the team
• Working Knowledge of JIRA and Zypher
• Strong programming experience with Java, Java scripts
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge and experience on REST APIs
• Knowledge and experience on APIGEE
• Writing and executing JUNIT testcases
• Able to perform vulnerability scans and fix if any issues identified.
• Able to fix sonar Qube issues.
• Knowledge on GIT Lab and able to perform version control.
• Knowledge on PCF and CI/CD (using BAMBOO)
• Exp in deploying the code on cloud
• Able to coordinate deployment activities.

What you\'ll do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you thrive on working with your team to design, build and deliver innovative software products and solutions that delight our customers. You apply broad knowledge in software application layer solutions and the software development lifecycle, to experiment, solve problems, and own solutions that transform epics into new product features and capabilities. Your continuous learning and improvement mindset and collaboration skills are critical to success in this role, as you continue to deepen your knowledge and expertise in the Software Engineering Domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product Owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead software engineering teams, providing guidance, perform lead reviews on UI software.
• Design and implement responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular front-end frameworks.
• Integrate front-end and back-end components to create a seamless and efficient user experience.
• Perform database design and development, including data modelling, queries, and optimization.
• Ensure the application\'s performance, security, and scalability meet industry best practices and project requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to identify and resolve issues.
• Continuously improve and refactor code to enhance application performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to facilitate smooth deployment and release processes.
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and apply best practices to the development process.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Organise and conduct showcases to product owners and stakeholders with regards to the software and functionalities built.

Who we\'re looking for.

• Proven experience as a UI Developer (Project Lead or Tech Lead) or similar role with more than 8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Exp in deploying the code on cloud (AWS)
• Working knowledge of the use of Accessibility Tools \xe2\x80\x93 Compliance and guidelines and understand how they can assis the team (Optional)
• Working Knowledge of JIRA and Zypher
• Strong programming experience with Java, Java scripts
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential.
• Writing and executing JUNIT testcases
• Able to perform vulnerability scans and fix if any issues identified.
• Able to fix sonar Qube issues.
• Knowledge on GIT Lab and able to perform version control.
• Knowledge on PCF and CI/CD (using BAMBOO)
• Able to coordinate deployment activities.
• Able to do requirement analysis.
• Ability to lead automation.
• Experience across Selenium and Postman
• Familiarity with server-side templating languages and build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a passion for writing clean and efficient code.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
