Responsibilities: Define the Floorplan of complex analog and mixed signal modules at block level and at full chip level. Design the analog layouts like LDOs, Voltage Converters, Bandgaps, PLLs, DACs, ADCs, Oscillators, etc., Top level layout integration of Analog /Mixed Signal chips Work closely with the schematics designers to design the layouts. Defining the BBOX for the Custom layout designs. LVS, Parasitic extraction and DRC. Scripting and automation of various layout tasks, checks, etc., Work with various teams (Architecture, Behavioral modeling, Logical Design, Physical Design, Firmware, Design Verification, Silicon Bring-up) to ensure successful cross-team engagement and high-quality execution. Qualifications & Skills: 3 to 5 years of Analog / Mixed signal design and tape out experience in several of the following : LDOs, DC-DC converters, Bandgaps, ADCs, DACS, Oscillators, Tempsensor, PLLs etc. LVS, DRC and PEX (post BA) debug expertise - Calibre and PVS. Good understanding of CMOS and VLSI technologies (device physics, layout effects, sub-micron effects and device reliability)!. Confirmed knowledge of industry-standard tools and practices for analog/mixed-signal and high-speed digital layout designs (Cadence Virtuoso - XL and GxL). Able to write scripts using Cadence-Skill, Python, Perl, TCL, Calibre-SVDB, etc. Education and Experience: Electronics/E&C Engineering - M.S./M.Tech, BS/BE/B.Tech Experience Required: 3- 5 years.
