Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage electrical design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of home lift systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in lift/elevator electrical systems, hands-on site experience, and the ability to guide junior engineers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and supervise electrical systems for home lifts and residential elevators
Handle electrical wiring, control panels, VFDs, PLCs, and safety circuits related to lift operations
Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of home lift projects
Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide timely resolutions at site
Coordinate with mechanical engineers, installation teams, vendors, and clients
Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and lift regulations
Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation
Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians
Support after-sales service and breakdown analysis when required
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
5-8 years of relevant experience in lifts, elevators, or vertical transportation systems
Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, VFD drives, relays, PLC basics, and sensors
Hands-on experience in commissioning and troubleshooting home or passenger lifts
Familiarity with safety norms, wiring standards, and electrical compliance
Willingness to travel to project sites within and outside Kolkata
