Our Mission Critical division is a dynamic and growing unit that specialises in the field of design, due diligence reviews and enhanced testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems and Mission Critical Applications such as data centres and banking. BIM Electrical Engineer / Sr. BIM Electrical Engineer - Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities

Preparation of multidisciplinary 3d model using Revit for Various LOD.

Assist project teams in BIM project setup and resolve BIM design issues.

Creating new model setting up.

Creating and publishing the Federated Model.

Creating walkthrough presentation in Navisworks.

Monitoring the model and document quality and integrity.

Preparing relevant design development, Coordination and Construction drawing.

Extracting CAD drawings from Revit.

Extracting BOQ from the Revit model.

Coordinating with BIM Coordinator / Manager creating RFIs, Progress report etc.

Preparing Images and 3D rendering.

Generating service clash detection report using Revit/Navisworks.

Conducting QA/QC on every stage of Model submission.

Preferred candidate profile

Degree in Electrical Engineering

3 to 10+ years of experience BIM Modelling and Coordination

Should have basic knowledge of Architecture & Structure modelling.

Should be good in Model Coordination and BIM process.

BIM Tool- Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360 Collaboration

Good to have Dynamo (BIM automation tool)

Looking for candidates only from Electrical design domain.

Qualification and experience

Degree level education in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Minimum of 03 to 10+ years professional experience in design consultancy and contracting.

Good knowledge & Experience in REVIT software.

Experience in developing Electrical / Mechanical calculations, specifications, BOQs, schemes, drawings, Basis of design, sequence of operations etc.

Good Knowledge on relevant electrical codes (e.g. IS, IEEE, IEC etc).

Computer literate and have experience of using industry relevant design software such as CAD, BIM, AMTECH, ETAP, DIALux etc.

Hands on experience in a Client-facing role.
