Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Draughtsman to join our team at DCS Group. As a Senior Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for construction projects. This is a full-time position based in Siliguri, West Bengal, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in draughtsmanship and possess strong knowledge of technical drawing, CAD software, BIM, 3D modeling, rendering, coordination, data maintenance, and conducting site visits.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in draughtsmanship or a related field
• Proficiency in technical drawing software, such as AutoCAD or similar
• Familiarity with BIM software and 3D modeling tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret design specifications
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in conducting site visits and collecting accurate measurements is preferred
• Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create and modify technical drawings and plans according to project specifications
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate and detailed drawings
• Utilize CAD software and BIM technology to develop 2D and 3D models
• Produce renderings for client presentations and project visualizations
• Coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve any design conflicts
• Maintain data and documentation related to drawings, revisions, and project updates
• Conduct site visits to collect accurate measurements and assess project progress
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations in all drawings and plans
