The Email Developer is part of a team that manages the deployment of email campaigns that drive business goals. This role is responsible for coding emails and providing quality assurance to ensure optimal rendering across all email clients and devices. This individual will be responsible for delivering html files for use in email deployment, troubleshooting rendering issues, and authoring emails through custom templates within Adobe Experience Manager. This individual communicates frequently with internal stakeholders regarding upcoming email campaigns and will guide conversations around email marketing best practices. You will coach other team members on coding best practices. Core Responsibilities: Code emails based on design files from creative team or direction from marketing managers QA and troubleshooting html files using Litmus, EmailOnAcid, or similar inbox rendering tools Generates tracking codes to ensure all links are tracked uniquely Maintain content library within Adobe Experience Manager and advise in planning and delivery of assets across audience segments Collaborate with Marketing leads to determine scope for new projects and opportunities Ensure email campaigns deploying across multiple internal systems adhere to industry best practices Research and stay ahead of updates with email clients, platforms, or devices which may require changes to email templates Assist in documentation of internal best practice and process development documentation Have a strong understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g. Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.) Collaborate with internal teams and product lines of business to make optimizations around design/code based on email metrics Recommend forward thinking strategies, tests and innovations Knowledgeable about industry trends and email best practices and passionate about digital marketing and how to identify new partners and trends Requirements Minimum of 1-2 year\'s experience working with AEM 6.4 or above. Designs and builds components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (HTL, Sightly, Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR). Experience working with forms, Workflows and DAM. Strong Java/J2EE knowledge. Knowledge on front-end skills (CSS, JavaScript, HTML, JQuery, Sass) are required. Knowledge on Adobe Marketing Cloud tools such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Tag Manager is plus. (1.) To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes. (2.) To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements (3.) To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements (4.) To provide support for enhancement (major and minor) or new developments based on business requirements as provided by the client as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.
