About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst... In this role, you will: Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met Identify data quality metrics and executes data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality Adhere to data governance standards and procedures Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues Develop and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members Drive planning and coordination on low to medium sized remediation efforts, acting as central point of contact Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leader. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Responsibilities: Provide direction, clarity and guidance on policy, process and template usage Support Application Business Data Owners with analysis of artifacts that helps identify template contents Provide guidance on identification of core data elements including System Of Record (SOR) designation and assignment of business criticality Work with application and technology managers to complete their assigned application templates Facilitate the entry of information into templates Facilitate required meetings with delivery team to complete templates Facilitate the steps needed to complete template This includes approvals and storing templates into the EDG Policy Evidence folders Facilitate the process and steps needed to complete recertification of templates Essential Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Information Technology and Data Management 4+ years of experience with Metadata/Data dictionaries management including technical/business content and data lineage 4+ years of experience with Data Quality Assessment Financial product knowledge/exposure in one or more below: Derivatives (any asset class- Equities, Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities)- Listed products and/or OTC SFTs- Securities financing transaction- Securities borrowing/lending, repos, reverse repos, tri-party repos/rev repos Collateral mgt Reference data- security master, inventory master, client/account relationship SQL skills- queries, joins, data modelling, relational concepts Desired Qualifications: Experience in working with remote teams Experience in Data mapping and data profiling will be added advantage Experience in facilitating and hosting conference calls Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Solid experience with MS Excel Agile experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Sense of urgency Ability to triage, track and dispose the issues Metadata, governance and DQ experience RWF@23 We Value Diversity At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.
