This role is part of the Master Data Management team, whose responsibility is to support MDM strategies, requirements, and policies aligned with the AXA XL vision. The role of the Assistant Scientist is to support with his EBX MDM expertise the implementation process of Master Data Management for projects and BAU. You will be working on EBX design and implementation for different IDA MDM projects across the reference, party, location, and product data domains.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Analyse Business requirements and transform them into technical requirements \xe2\x80\x93 take the lead in requirements definition and clarification when appropriate.

• Validate the feasibility and estimate the complexity of the business requirement.

• Support the customers and other stakeholders in demand generation.

• Support the MDM delivery team on design, development, user training, and operations with the EBX tool.

• Report progress and performance made periodically to Team Leader.

• Consistent interaction with Team Leader on any business issues.

• Regular interaction with key stakeholders and project sponsors to understand their needs related to Master Data Management domain and provide answers to the business.

• Make sure complete adherence to defined Service Level Agreements \xe2\x80\x93 productivity, turn-around-time, and accuracy.

• Perform the following main tasks :

• Design, Build, test, and user training for MDM Projects and BAU changes.

• Share information with the business customer community.

• Support translating Business requests to EBX processes.

• Support MDM user training.

• Data Quality monitoring.

• Support business processes for all segments.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• University Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in MDM process, data analysis/data initiatives, preferably in insurance.

• Experience in Java & J2EE, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery / Angular JS, and Testing framework.

• Experience in SQL Server (SQL Server 2008 and greater) and TSQL development.

• Robust understanding of data analysis, data and process modeling, and relational database concepts.

• Knowledge of REST API, Web Services, XML, SOAP, integration middleware such as MuleSoft, etc.

• Knowledge of Tomcat, Weblogic, and IBM Websphere build process.

• Knowledge of the Insurance Industry and Party Data.

• Good knowledge of the MDM implementation process.

• Hands-on expertise required with the EBX MDM tool.
